摘要：
A study of felt application on twin-wire tissue machines indicates the major consideration of felt design to be efficient water removal. Although surface characteristics are still a prime consideration for pickup and Yankee dryer contact, the total felt structure must be properly engineered to achieve optimum overall performance. It is anticipated that surface characteristics will become more critical as twin-wire tissue machine speeds increase.
