摘要
Photography is a global communication tool positioned in different spaces, physical or virtual. Most of the images we consume are made with compositional parameters and now absorb more images than ever, but will not the influence the composition rules for a picture can stay longer in the viewer's memory? Gombrich says, "to remember a large number of items must use storage (...) in coded form (...) abstract or reduced" (2012, p.151) The objective of this research was to make an approach to the premise of whether these utilities positioned or not a photograph in memory and for how long they stay. Using two different groups (men and women) of different ages, a presentation of photographs was performed with and without compositional rules, then filling out a survey to quantify the results gave a corollary of the photographs that responded to these provisions if they are more remembered.
