摘要
In this paper, we investigate the nonlinear hydromagnetic stagnation-point flow and heat transfer of diamond, platinum-mineral oil based nanofluid over a flat plate with viscous dissipation in the presence of transverse uniform magnetic field which is uniform. The fluid is assumed to be viscous, incompressible and electrically conducting. Governing nonlinear equations are transformed to nonlinear ordinary differential equations by using similarity transformation and numerical solution is obtained by using Runge Kutta Gill method with shooting technique. These numerical solutions are shown graphically by means of graphs. The effect of nanoparticle volume fraction, Hartman number, Eckert number and Prandtl number on velocity, temperature, skin friction and rate of heat transfer are thoroughly discussed.
