HCl chemical laser from H+Cl2O

摘要
Lasing action has been observed following pulsed electrical discharges in mixtures of H-2 and Cl2O. The range of laser output covered approximately 3.6 to 4.0 mu m. A chain mechanism is proposed for this system, and lasing action is attributed to H+Cl-2 -> HCl* + ClO.
