摘要
Kinetics of formation of dichloromono(amidinothiourea)platinum(II) from PtCl4(2)- and amidinothiourea in acidic aqueous solution have been studied. The protonation constant of the ligand, amidinothiourea (L), and the equilibrium constants for the following reactions have been evaluated: [GRAPHICS] From the observed dependence of the rate of the reaction on concentrations of the ligand, H+ and Cl- ions, a plausible mechanism has been proposed. Activation parameters corresponding to the resolved rate constants have also been evaluated.
