摘要
The effect of white light on dislocation-dependent damping in CdS has been investigated by the internal friction technique. Two distinct types of behaviour have been observed. Sample A with an excess of dislocations in basal plane show a decrease of attenuation with light application. Sample B with an excess of dislocations in prismatic planes show an increase of attenuation under illumination. The effect in sample A increased with increasing temperature, while in sample B it decreased and at 380 K turned into the sample A effect. © 1990.
