摘要
The weak adiabatic limit of tunnelling of a charged particle in a polar liquid is considered. The instanton action is calculated for an arbitrary set of bath oscillators. The solution is expressed in terms of the dielectric loss function of the polar solvent. At zero temperature the instanton action is shown to have only the tunnelling term but not an activation energy. © 1990.
