摘要
Based on a preliminary study related to the inventory of the quality condition of software development companies in Boyaca (Colombia), we have found that none of them have a quality certification, and most of them can be considered as Mipymes (Micro-Small and Medium sized enterprises), therefore, we pretend to assist these companies in order they use the best quality practices based on ISO/IEC 15504 standard, through the construction of a tool to guide them to obtain such certification. The tool should be open-access, low-cost and must comply with the usability standards; it will be developed in accordance to the Cloud Computing paradigm. The aim is to encourage companies to improve their software production processes and lead them to be competitive nationally and internationally, so this field of the Boyaca's economy really can turn into an alternative for the regional growth
