摘要
It is suggested that the modifications in the atomic order in the amorphous alloys RT//x(T equals Fe or Co) are mainly responsible for the differences in their magnetic behavior as compared to the corresponding crystalline compounds. The author compares the magnetic behavior of GdCo**2 and GdFe**2 both in the crystalline and amorphous states.
