摘要
Al-Al2O3 composites produced by directed metal oxidation using external dopants and a particulate filler body as reinforcement have been investigated. Two different external dopant systems were used and the results are compared with those obtained using alloyed dopants without a filler body. It is shown that mixing the dopants with the filler produces the most homogeneous microstructures.
