摘要
Thyristor phase control of shaded-pole motors provides a simple system for low power variable-speed drive. The performance analysis of the system is complicated by the presence of harmonics in the voltage applied and the discontinuity in the motor current. The paper presents a numerical method of solving the basic differential equations of the motor which easily takes phase control into consideration. Computed and experimental results are compared.
