摘要
The CdS/TiO2-montmorillonite (Mt) nanocomposites were prepared following a facile hydrothermal synthesis. The results show TiO2 and CdS particles were well distributed on the surface of Mt. CdS/TiO2-Mt nanocomposites have the delaminated structure with the three dimensional coaggregations of clay particles, Ti poly-oxycations and CdS crystallites. Anatase TiO2 and hexagonal CdS nanoparticles had been well dispersed and immobilized on the interior and exterior surface of Mt. The photocatalytic performances of the CdS/TiO2-Mt materials were evaluated by the degradation of methylene blue (MB) under visible light irradiation. The CdS/TiO2-Mt composite exhibited superior photocatalyic property and the maximum removal efficiency was up to 90% within 150 min. The enhanced photocatalytic activity of this composite is due to the sensitization by coupling TiO2 with CdS and a large specific surface area of Mt as a support.
