摘要
:
In the recent technical literature, several publications have reported the existence of a strong correlation between coercive squareness (S*) and media modulation noise (Nm) in thin film magnetic recording media. We measured several different thin film media and found that such a correlation between S* and Nm does not hold in general, even though it may exist for specific classes of alloys and microstructure. © 1990.
