摘要
The aim of the study was to determine how the ultrastructural organization of muscle fibers of varying functional profile corresponds to changes revealed by biochemical methods in the muscles. Dexamethasone was administered i.p. to male rats. White and red muscle fibers were studied by electron microscopy. The administration of dexamethasone resulted in the destruction of the myofibrillar apparatus in the muscle fibers, as well as in the proliferation of mitochondria, cellular elements of the vascular wall and in the presence of myosatellitocytes.
