摘要：
Restorative criminal justice concentrates on repairing the damage caused to victims and social relations, besides punishing criminals. The focus on the needs of victims affected by a crime and helping them regain personal control seems to have a great potential to improve social cohesion in societies which tend to be indifferent to victim's troubles.
