摘要
This study has as objective to investigate whether the time-activity of the Portuguese language teacher has made in a professional training period and reading as an instrument of formation and improvement of pedagogical work. To achieve the proposed objective develop a qualitative research of the type case study, based on Yin (2005). The data analysis showed that the teachers have read books, magazines, newspapers and virtual sites to diversify the pedagogical practices, in some moments, the act of reading also enabled to reflection and transformation of the pedagogical practices.
