RELATIVISTIC CONFIGURATION-INTERACTION STUDIES OF FINE-STRUCTURE SPLITTINGS AND TRANSITION WAVELENGTHS OF K-LIKE IONS

摘要
Fine structure splittings of 4f2F-degrees and 3d2D terms have been calculated by the relativistic configuration interaction method for Kr17+. The transition wavelengths and oscillator strengths between them have also been studied. There exist strong configuration interactions for the 4f2F-degrees-5/2 and 4f2F-degrees-7/2 levels, mainly involving perturbing 3p(5)3d4s configurations which result in an abnormal fine structure splitting of the 4f2F-degrees term. Configuration mixings also have an important effect on the transition wavelengths and oscillator strengths. The main perturber of 4f configuration, i.e. 3p(5)3d4s, is discussed. In addition, the fine structure splittings of some ions along the potassium sequence are investigated. Our calculations agree well with experiments.
