SOLID-PHASE EXTRACTION OF PAH FROM WATER SAMLES (DRINKING-WATER AND SLIGHTLY LOADED SURFACE-WATER BY ADDITION BY HYAMINE)

摘要
The determination of PAH from aqueous matrix requires a sample preparation method which causes an enrichment of the substances, considering that their concentration in water samples is below detection limit. For concentration from aqueous matrix a solid phase extraction method, which consists of a cartridge connexion of amino and C18, was developed and optimized for routine use. The optimized method allows the analyses of 11 from 16 PAH including the EPA-standard. Without restriction isopropanol can be replaced by Hyamine 1622, a cationic detergent, whose great advantage could be found in the lower dosage to water samples in comparison to isopropanol. The whole process allows an analysis in routine where a large number of water samples could be analysed simultaneously and the velocity of sample preparation only is limited by the separation speed of HPLC.
