摘要
A simple theory of striction associated with displacive phase transitions is presented and shown to be analogous to the spin-fluctuation theory of the magneto-volume effect. It is argued that a new class of nonmagnetic invar materials undergoing second-order structural phase transition is likely to exist. © 1990.
