摘要
Irradiation of the half-sandwich manganese tricarbonyl complex eta-5-C5H4CH2CH(CH3)NH(CH3)-Mn(CO)3, which itself contained a secondary amine branch on the cyclopentadienyl group, to give bidentate complex, eta-5-C5H4CH2CH(CH3) activated NHCH3Mn(CO)2. Deprotonation followed by allylation gave N-allylation compound, eta-5-C5H4CH2CH(CH3) activated N(CH3)(C3H5) Mn(CO)2, which was unequivocally identified by spectroscopic and X-ray diffraction studies.
