摘要
Aspect-independent single-mode extraction pulses (S-pulses) are used in conjunction with scattered field computations to discriminate between thin-wire aircraft targets. The effect of white Gaussian noise in the target returns is considered. It is shown that noise in the target returns tends to limit the reliable application of the method to an intermediate interval (window) of time which occurs after reception of the forced response.
