摘要
Aim: Evaluate the long-term effect of routine OLVEG power in transition to EVEG body composition of healthy and physically active individual. Materials and Methods: Review of records, interviews with patients and literature review. Anthropometric variables: body weight, height, skinfold thickness, waist circumference and hip. Diet ad libitium OLVEG transitioning to EVEG analyzed qualitatively through dietary records. The physical activity of the individual was constant, and alternating oriented Results: Slight reduction in body fat percentage and maintenance of fat-free mass. Reduction in waist and hip circumferences. Discussion: Waist circumference is significantly lower in vegetarians than in nonvegetarians. All nutrients, vitamin B12 is just not found in EVEG diet. Vegetarians may have a possibly resulting from their greater intake of whole carbohydrates and lower intake of fats high resting metabolic rate, mediated by high levels of norepinephrine. A vegetarian diet does not affect aerobic performance in physical activity. Conclusion: Targeted nutritional guidance proved effective for weight maintenance as well as the physical and mental disposition for daily sports practice. Nutritional counseling should be provided by health professionals trained in this area of knowledge, educating vegetarians about sources of specific nutrients, food preparation, and dietary modifications necessary.
