摘要：
Translation has always been compared methaphorically with the femenine subject. While the author and the original text are figured as men, the translator is figured as a woman. This paper, on the one hand, deals with the gendered methaphorics of translation in some historial periods and, on the other, focuses on Jacques Derrida's theory of translation and its subversion of the classical binary oppositions in sexual and textual terms.
