摘要：

Information architecture has been developed for the production of software in a process of determining that the product reaches the required quality. The objective of this research is to demonstrate the important role information architect in the software development process for which a theoretical analysis of the elements that identify the process of Information Architecture (IA), describes the RUP methodologies and XP in terms of roles, artifacts and phases that interact with the stages of AI, collecting items for the fulfillment of that objective. For the collection and analysis of the information included documentary analysis method. Finally we come to conclusions.
