摘要
Giant MR has been observed in a series of sputtered Co-Au granular alloy films. X-ray studies indicate that these films are nanocrystalline and exhibit (111) growth texture. The GMR effect is relatively small at room temperatures but is not close to saturation in a field of 1.25T. Modeling the field dependence leads to saturation field estimates of der 10T and greater.
