摘要
time-resolved fluorometry with fluorescent lanthanide chelateas as labels is gaining acceptance as a high-sensitivity non-isotopic immunoassay technique. More recently, the same technique has been used for non-isotopic nucleic acid hybridization assays. In this paper, I discuss the basic principles of the technology, its applications in biotechnology and some recent developments and future directions.
