摘要
We prepared inclusion compounds of natural or synthetic zeolite (the host component) containing two guest components: derivatives of cyclodextrin or iodine (the first guest component) and, in the first case, salicylic acid or iodine (the second guest component). Both types of guest component are capable of being slowly released from zeolite. The aim of this work was to prepare the products with the ability of slow release of the effective guest component and of prolonging the efficiency of this compound. Iodine and salicylic acid were chosen as model compounds. The products containing the natural zeolite as the host component are proposed for use in veterinary pharmacy. In the case of products containing synthetic zeolite, we did not propose any practical use, but these products were analogously prepared for comparison with the characteristics of natural zeolite products. The properties of the products were studied by infrared spectra, thermal analysis (thermogravimetry and differential scanning calorimetry methods), elemental CHN analysis, electron microprobe measurements and by X-ray patterns.
