EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION AND SCIENTIFIC CULTURE: MEANINGFUL LEARNING AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PERCEPTION

摘要
In this work, it is highlighted the approach of scientific culture in Early Childhood Education. For this, it is presented an action-research process involving managers, teachers, children of four and five years old and community, in a scholar institution in Parana in 2014. These subjects were involved in educational activities with fundamentals on assumptions of the theory of meaningful learning and Environmental Education. The considerations presented in this work include the development of six sets of educational activities with children and five meetings with school managers and teachers about this process. The analyzed data include: records in field diary; audio and video records; works elaborated by learners; official documents. Data were analyzed by means of Analysis of Content. It is highlighted some results concerning evidences of formation and assimilation of concepts and of development of environmental perception.
