摘要
Resonant shallow donor magnetopolaron effect in a GaAs/AlGaAs quantum dot in high magnetic fields is investigated by the variational treatment. It is shown that both the cyclotron resonant frequency omega*c+ due to the 1s-p+ hydrogenic transition and the cyclotron resonant frequency omega*c- due to the 1s-p- hydrogenic transition increase with the decrease of the dot size. The cyclotron resonant frequency omega*c+ is always larger than the bulk LO-phonon frequency omega(LO), while the cyclotron resonant frequency omega*c- is lower than omega(LO) for larger quantum dots. The results also show that Coulomb interaction effect on the resonant frequencies is significant.
