Thermal properties of gamma-ray irradiated Co-Zn ferrite

摘要
Co-Zn ferrite samples of the system Co1-xZnxFe2O4 (x = 0,0.2, 0.3, 0.5,0.6 and 0.8) were prepared using the usual ceramic double sintering technique. Thermal conductivity and specific heat were measured at different temperatures for different compositions. The effect of Co-60 gamma-irradiation dose (10(6) rad) on the thermal conductivity and specific heat were studied.
