摘要
Monte Carlo calculations of dose quantities have been performed using the PNL male and female anthropomorphic phantoms for neutrons between 10 and 20 MeV for the AP, PA, L-LAT, R-LAT, and ROT irradiation geometries. The impacts of the new radiation protection quantities recommended by ICRP 60 were explored. Ambient dose equivalents were calculated using both the ICRP 21 and ICRP 60 Q-L relationships. The ambient dose equivalent was found to underestimate the effective dose at all energies under consideration for the AP and PA irradiation geometries. Tabulations including organ dose equivalents are reported.
