摘要
Using a Cu-Te alloy we have developed a simple and reliable method to fix and electrically connect wires in drift and proportional chambers. The method lends itself to mass production and has been employed in two detector systems: The endcap hadron calorimeter proportional tube chambers of the L3 experiment and the L3 forward/backward muon drift chambers.
