INFLUENCE OF COADSORPTION OF OXYGEN ON ADSORPTION OF CO2 ON FE(111)

摘要
Coadsorption of oxygen and carbon dioxide is studied on Fe(111) single crystal surfaces at temperatures between 77 and 450 K. It was found that adsorption of linear CO2 at 77 K is stabilized by the presence of oxygen. At 120 K a carbonate-like species is formed. It is stable up to about room temperature. © 1990 Pergamon Press plc.
