摘要：
A systematic study of extraction of cadmium and mercury salicylate with Aliquat 336 has been reported. The optimum conditions for extraction and estimation have been evaluated with respect to pH, [salicylate], [Aliquat 336], diluent, period of equilibration and the effect of foreign ions. The method permits the separation of cadmium and mercury and also the binary separation of cadmium and mercury from commonly associated metal ions. The method has been applied to the analysis of synthetic samples and industrial waste water samples.
