摘要：
This article is an attempt of the scientific definition of the German interlinear word for word translation of "Odyssey" made by Professor K. Grasshof. This text was the base and the substitute of the original for the Russian poet and translator V. A. Zhukovsky, who translated this Homer's poem practically from German into Russian at 1844-1848. In the article several translation-principles of the Russian romanticist are defined more exactly, the aspects of further study of interlinear translation as a phenomenon in the cross-cultural communication are contemplated.
