Measurements of the excess molar enthalpy HEm of {xit(CH2)2CO + (1 - x)C6H6} in the supercritical region at the pressure 5.68 MPa and at the temperatures (494.5, 519.0, 535.7, 559.2, and 577.4) K are reported. Comparison with the Patel and Teja equation of state with k12 = 0.045 shows that the equation fits the measurements at 494.5 K and 577.4 K fairly well, but it is a less good fit at intermediate temperatures nearer the critical. © 1992 Academic Press Limited All rights reserved.
