摘要
The authors propose a method using diffuse-reflectance, near-infrared spectrometry (NIRR) and multivariate data evaluation to determine yield, kappa number, and content of lignin, glucose, xylose and uronic acid during kraft digestion of birch under different conditions. A factorial design established the optimal linearization algorithm for the spectrometric data. The method readily predicts yield, kappa number, and concentrations of lignin, glucose, xylose, adn uronic acid from a single NIRR measurement with good correlation.
