摘要
The influence of the spectrum and concentration of cavitation nuclei on the critical cavitation number corresponding to the onset of cavitation noise from a wing or propeller tip vortex is investigated. It is shown that corrections for variations in the abundances of cavitation nuclei in water must be introduced in the experimental determination of the critical cavitation number.
