摘要：
The aim of this study has been to attain a descriptive analysis of the psychiatric emergencies in the ''Hospital Psiquiatrico de Madrid'' taking into account the differents sociosanitaries areas which are covered. The work has been divided in two phases: the firts one is retrospectives and has been carried out with the emergencies which arrived in June of 1989, and second phase is prospective made with in 1990's june emergencies. A serie of sociodemographic and clinics variables and aspects relating to the own emergency are assessed according to the patient's sociosanitary area, with the abject to found a outline distintive of the patients who come to the hospital.
