THE ROLE OF SOCIO-CULTURAL FACTORS IN THE CONTEMPORARY RUSSIA'S POLITICAL MODERNIZATION

摘要
We consider the interdependence of political and socio-cultural modernization, as a complex system upgrade of Russian society. Characterize the content and objectives of the current phase of modernization, based on the level of socio-cultural modernization of Russia, that is, the degree of development of the "human dimension" of modernization. Evaluated the activity of various kinds of groups, depending on the ratio of terminal and instrumental value positions. Problematizes the situation of domination differentiating instrumental values of integrating terminal value, which prevents political modernization. To solve the problem the author has synthesized in social practice solutions offered by supporters of both structural and procedural, theoretical approaches.
