Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis is an exceptional disease characterized by inflammation and progressive scarring of the bile ducts of the liver. Its diagnosis is by imaging of the bile duct, and histology of the liver. The surgery is the main treatment. Starting from one case and a review of the literature, we pay particular attention to poor prognosis of this disease in spite of the advances of liver transplantation.
