摘要
This paper introduces the surveillance and fight against dengue fever in India. On one side, it presents the national control and surveillance system and on the other, the daily perceptions of the habitants and the local actors of Delhi (India). There are several issues to overcome between the low self-fulfilling prophecies of the public health guidelines and the field reality. India will continue to face several epidemics of dengue until some active policies by the States of the Union and a strong multi-sectoral approach of health issues at urban scale-level are brought in place.
