摘要：
We report on measurements of the differential change in kinetic cross section, DELTA-sigma/sigma, upon excitation of Rb immersed in various atomic and molecular buffer gases. For the first time negative values for DELTA-sigma/sigma are found. Large positive values are found for saturated hydrocarbons as a buffer gas.
