摘要：
In this paper we derive a new diffraction coefficient which is suitable for calculating the field diffracted by the vertices of perfectly conducting objects is derived. This diffraction coefficient is used to calculate the field scattered by the corner of a metallic sheet and this is compared with experimental measurements of the same. This comparison shows good agreement between experiment and theory.
