摘要
This paper sets out to show how small arts organisations can both afford and benefit from market research. The paper offers a case history, describing an annual audience survey programme carried out by Phoenix Arts, Leicester. The paper also looks at other methods employed by Phoenix Arts to gain a greater understanding of its customers' needs and wants and to ensure an organised flow of marketing information to aid long-term planning.
