NEW MODELS FOR PREDICTION OF SPECIFIC ENERGY OF COAL

摘要
Experimental data for 160 Indian coal samples were used to obtain a correlation between specific energy and compositional parameters (oxygen content and O/C and O/H atomic ratios). The specific energy is linearly related to these parameters with correlation coefficients > 0.96. Statistical analysis and comparison of the models with eight other existing models suggest that the present models are superior.
