摘要：

The work presented examines by indicators through in the field of Innovation (Research on Technological Innovation - PINTEC, 2008) the degree of innovation of the national pharmaceutical industry. These indicators take into consideration how much is invested in monetary terms as well as government encouragement through tax incentives. These indicators provide data that show the degree of dependence of Brazil on imports of medicines and pharmaceutical imputs to supply the domestic market.
