摘要
The main assumptions underlying self-consistent theories of polycrystalline plasticity are explained. One of their advantages is that they can take into account heterogeneities in stress and strain which exist particularly in plastically anisotropic materials and polyphase aggregates. The theory includes morphological as well as topological effects on mechanical interactions and can be applied to non-linear materials. The theory is illustrated for axial compression of a two-phase composite.
