摘要：
A new generation of information retrieval technology will essentially be represented by distributed heterogeneous multimedia systems. The main objective of these systems is to provide management of diverse data types including text, images, audio and video. The basic elements of a multimedia cognitive-based information retrieval system (AMCIRS) have been described elsewhere 1. In this paper we update AMCIRS considerations. It is shown that the system can provide an efficient transfer of information through the network nodes in distributed environment.
