QUASI-2-DIMENSIONAL HOLE PAIRING IN THE 3-DIMENSIONAL T-J MODEL

摘要
The superconducting phase transition in the three-dimensional t-J model is studied by a mean-field theory of hole pairs. The local constraint of the slave-fermion formalism is solved by introducing CP1 variables for spins. In the interesting parameter region, a "dimension-quenching" mechanism operates, i.e., the hole-pair order parameters of superconductivity on links develop only within each two-dimensional layer. This leads to almost the same critical temperature as in the two-dimensional model.
